Physical Therapy for Chronic Pelvic Pain

College of Physical Therapy 3rd International Scientific Conference
Under the Title of:
” Physiotherapy Inspiring Better Health “

Physical Therapy can play an important role in managing chronic pelvic pain. A physical therapist can work with individuals to identify and address any physical limitations or muscle imbalances that may be contributing to the pain. Treatment may involve exercises to improve posture, flexibility, and strength in the pelvic region, as well as manual therapy techniques to relieve pain and tension.

In addition, a physical therapist can educate patients on proper body mechanics, such as how to properly lift and move to reduce strain on the pelvic region. Physical therapy can help alleviate symptoms and improve function for individuals with chronic pelvic pain and should be an integral component of a comprehensive treatment plan. All of these methods and more will be explained by;
