Registration Conditions

- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or Clinical Pharmacy, or bachelor of Pharmacy (Pharm D) or a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (Pharm D- Clinical) with a grade at least of Good from one of the Faculties of Pharmacy in Egyptian universities or any other scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, in addition to a Very Good Grade at least in the average of the specialization courses determined by the competent department council.

- The College Council may, based on the recommendation of the concerned department council, accept the student’s registration for a Master’s Degree if he holds a bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Clinical Pharmacy, Pharm-D or PharmD Clinical, with a Pass general grade, provided that he obtains one of the specialization diplomas with a Very Good general grade from one of the colleges of pharmacy or another scientific institute recognized by the Supreme Council of Universities, after passing a number of courses determined by the competent department council and approved by the College Council before being enrolled for a Master’s Degree.

- The student must devote himself to study at least two days a week for two Gregorian years.

Admission Requirements

- Obtaining the approval of the competent department council.

- Submission of all required required documents to the Department of Graduate Studies at the college icluding:
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacy, “Clinical Pharmacy” or Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy,Bachelor’s Degree in Pharm-D or Bachelor’s Degree in PharmD (Clinical Pharmacy) .

- Transcript of Grades and GPA.

- Military service status (For Males Only).

- Birth Certificate.

- Employer’s approval to pursue the master’s degree.

- Students’declaration that they are not enrolled in any other postgraduate program, at the same or at any other faculty or higher institutes within Egypt.

- A declaration from the student that he has not previously enrolled in the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences study, and if he has previously done so, he explains the reasons for dropping out of study before obtaining the degree.

- For non-Egyptians, the rules governing this are applied according to the provisions of the Executive Regulations of the Universities Organization Law and the decisions of the Supreme Council of Universities

Duration of study

- The minimum period for granting a master’s degree is two years from the College Council’s enrollment approval and eighteen months from the College Council’s registration approval.

- The maximum period for granting a master’s degree is five Gregorian years from the date of registration, taking into account the cases of suspension of enrollment. Enrollment may be extended to a maximum of two Gregorian years at the request of the main supervisor and the approval of the competent department council, the Graduate Studies and Research Committee at the college and the College Council.

- There research topic( Master’s thesis) must be registered within three years from passing the preparatory year courses.

The total number of credit hours for obtaining a master’s degree is 72 credit hours, including 36 hours of coursework and 36 hours of the practical part and the completion of the thesis.
