Who Can Apply

Admission is open to students holding recognized Egyptian secondary school certificates—including Thanaweya Amma, Al-Azhar, American Diploma, IGCSE/British certificates, and approved Arabic equivalencies. You may apply to any of Deraya’s four colleges: Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Dentistry, or Business Administration. Please refer to individual program pages for specific prerequisites. International students holding non-Egyptian certificates should see the International Students page for additional requirements.

How to Apply (Undergraduate)

1. Choose your program (Business, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy).
2. Check requirements for your certificate type and the program’s subject prerequisites.
3. Prepare documents (ID/passport, transcript, certificate, photos; see checklist below).
4. Apply online and upload documents.
5. Track your status. We will notify you about any missing items, interviews (if required), and your decision.

Entry Requirements

All applicants must meet the minimum grade requirements for their secondary certificate and program — generally a minimum of 58% for Thanaweya Amma/equivalent certificates and 55% for other recognized certificates, depending on the program. Deraya is required by law to send each admitted student’s complete file to the Ministry of Higher Education and the Council of Private Universities (CPU); enrollment is confirmed upon CPU clearance.
