In a new research journey that reflects Deraya University’s unwavering commitment to research and innovation, the “Guavacure” team from the university has qualified for the finals of the 2024 Startups Olympiad, funded by the Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority / Innovators Support Fund (ISF) – Researchers Track.
The team presented an exceptional research project focusing on the utilization of natural products in disease treatment, serving as a prime model that highlights the role of scientific research in delivering practical, innovative solutions to serve society. The team comprises a select group of faculty members and university alumni whose creativity demonstrated that scientific research can truly make a meaningful impact.
