Admission to the undergraduate programs is open for students holding equivalent certificates (Arabic Certificates, American Diploma, and IGCSE) who wish to apply for the following colleges: Dentistry, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, and Business Administration.

Thanaweya Amma:
- Original General Secondary Education Certificate (or an accredited and stamped statement of grades)
- Original computerized birth certificate
- 6 personal photos
- Copy of national ID card
- Form 2 of military service for male students
- Form 6 or 7 of military service for Egyptian male students
- Copy of national ID card for the guardian.
Al-Azhar Secondary School:
- Certified statement of success or a photocopy of the Al-Azhar Secondary School form before and after equivalency, along with a receipt for submission to the Al-Azhar coordination office.
- Original computerized birth certificate.
- 6 personal photos.
- Copy of the national ID card.
- Two copies of the military form for male students.
- 6 or 7 copies of the military form for male Egyptian students.
- Copy of the national ID card for the guardian.
Other Equivalent Degrees:
Arabic equivalency high school degree
- Official transcript (or original copy) of the (equivalent) high school certificate certified by the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the country where the student obtained the certificate, or by the embassy of the country where the certificate was obtained in Cairo before and after equivalence.
- Original copy of the birth certificate authenticated by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry in the case of foreign students.
- Six (6) personal photos.
- Copy of passport.
- Two (2) military forms for Egyptian male students.
- Form (6 or 7) military forms for male Egyptian students.
- Personal identification card (national ID) for the student’s guardian.
Commercial Diploma
- Original diploma certificate (or a copy of it)
- Computerized birth certificate (original or copy)
- 6 personal photos
- National ID card copy
- Form 2 Gond for male students
- Form 6 or 7 Gond for Egyptian male students
- National ID card copy for the guardian
English High School
- Official extract (or original copy) of the high school certificate authenticated by the British Council, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Education.
- Original computerized birth certificate.
- Full academic transcript or the Egyptian preparatory certificate, followed by three years of English high school education.
- Passport or national ID card (national number) copy.
- Six personal photos.
- Two military recruitment forms for Egyptian male students.
- Six or seven military recruitment forms for Egyptian male students.
- National ID card copy of the guardian.
American Diploma:
- Official transcript (or a copy of it) of the high school certificate authenticated by the Egyptian Cultural Counselor in Washington and the Ministry of Education.
- A copy of the official SAT, ACT, or EST certificate, certified and accredited, and a copy of the cumulative GPA.
- Complete academic record or Egyptian preparatory school, followed by three years of American high school.
- A letter from the educational administration for three years at the American diploma level.

- Two military forms for Egyptian male students.
- Form (6 or 7) of military service for Egyptian male students.
- Six personal photos.
- A copy of the passport or national ID card.
- A copy of the national ID card for the guardian.
Transferred students: The student submits a statement that includes the following:
- The student submits a statement that includes the following:
- The courses studied at the transferring college, the grades obtained, and the corresponding grades.
- The scientific content of each course studied by the student, along with passing it, is certified by the issuing authority and authenticated by the Egyptian embassy or the Egyptian foreign ministry for students studying abroad.
- The documents mentioned above (regarding the student’s status according to the type of high school diploma obtained) and a receipt of receiving these documents.
International students:
In addition to the above, the Birth certificate should be replaced with a valid passport for review.
Additional Information
Deraya is required by law to send each student’s complete file to the Ministry of Higher Education and the Council of Private Universities (CPU). No student will be admitted to study at Deraya unless the CPU provides its clearance.
