Knowledge Shaping the Future
To meet the instructional demands of Deraya colleges, Business Administration, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Physiotherapy, the Main Library has a vast collection of printed books in both English and Arabic languages, as well as electronic collections.
The interior design creates more privacy for students by offering new study units equipped with PCs and internet connections for internal use. A well-equipped study Room with PCs is also available at the Library.
Cairo International Book Fair visit
The annual visit to the Cairo International Book Fair by the library team at Deraya University is an important event that promotes the cultural and scientific growth of students and faculty members. It offers them an opportunity to explore a world of knowledge and to immerse themselves in a literary and intellectual environment. By attending the fair, students and faculty members at Deraya University are broadening their horizons and enhancing their intellectual abilities, which will help them become the leaders of tomorrow.
Cultural Activities and Library Workshops
A number of important stories or topics are presented and discussed by the library through a cultural session with the participation of faculty, administrative staff, and students.
The Library also offers workshops on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, how to make an account of it, how to use it, workshops on the impact factor for research, and how to select international journals with a high impact factor for publication.
The Interactive Book
Here, we can see how academia and art can work in partnership to drive innovation and creativity that drives values and benefits to the students.
Deraya University proudly announces the start of working with the Interactive Book. We at Deraya decided to keep pace with the world and make the learning process more interactive. The book preparation is done with 2D and 3D animation videos to explain the different parts of the curriculum. “Hundreds of books that produce every day, only the interactive one is the best ”

Shared digital libraries and databases have a Deraya university library
Books; The Library acquires a new collection of the latest scientific and cultural information containers in both Arabic and English every year by visiting the annual Cairo International Fair. It also deals with the largest publishing houses because in the Arab Republic of Egypt, or other international houses, directly of a need to acquire specific containers and books.
Interactive Books; Deraya University proudly announces the production of the Interactive Book. The production of the book was made through many processes, the preparation team did a great deal of research to let the student enjoy the educational process in the books, and we developed the book into a fully interactive book.

- The Library is a subscriber to the future university library management system, FLS of the Egyptian University Libraries Association EULC of the Supreme Council of Universities. The system is an automated system that enables the automation of all tasks, operations, and even services provided by the Library, which facilitates and helps organize the work of the Library.
- The library is also shared with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, EKB which is one of the largest digital libraries in the world. The knowledge bank provides access to a number of global databases and publishing houses for students, faculty, and associate staff free of charge via the academic E-mail of a Deraya university. The library allows students to make an account on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank with the help of library specialists and instruct them on how to research through the Egyptian Knowledge Bank.
