Deraya University held WELCOME CELEBRATIONS for the fresh undergraduate students admitted to the faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Celebrations took place in the auditorium located in the building of the Faculty of Physiotherapy.

Celebrations started by a warm welcome to the fresh students by the University Student Union, and the Assistant Lecturers of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine. Students then attended an orientation lecture that covered the University’s educational system, academic schedules, offered courses, and the courses’ registration process.

This was followed by short speeches delivered by the Vice President of the University, Dean, and Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, of the faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, and representatives from the University’s different departments. Deans and Vice Deans of the faculties of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Physiotherapy, and Business Administration, also participated in the celebrations.

The day was concluded by a tour around the campus to familiarize the students with the locations of the lecturing halls, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and the University’s different departments.
