The University’s Student care Department organizes a sports competition  for football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and billiards for university students each semester. It also supports student groups and clubs in organizing their own activities and events, and encourages  community service , such as health convoys.

The administration oversees the university’s multi-purpose football ,volleyball,handball and tennis courts, as well as the activity hall for table tennis and billiards, and the gymnasium. The administration encourages female students to practice sports, as it provides them with an aerobics trainer (Zomba), and it organizes sports days at the university at night for male and female students staying at the  university housing , and university students in general.

The administration organizes information  and culture  competitions, Holy Qur’an competitions to recite and memorize, and best  male and female students, as well as strength and fitness and talent competitions of all kinds, “Deraya’s got  talent”.The university is a member of the Egyptian Sports Federation for universities in official championships and competitions, which are organized by the federation such as the Al -Shead  al-Rifai championship and others. As well as in the activities and events of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

 In the  artistic and literary fields, the student Essam Aladdin won first place in this year’s photography competition. The university uses specialized trainers to develop  the university’s music and Scouts  teams. The administration organizes trips to Sharm Eli-Sheikh, Dahab and Hurghada, as well as cultural trips to the Egyptian Museum and the Pyramids, and visits to pharmaceutical factories and the book fair annually
