Deraya is considered the first and largest private university in Upper Egypt.

Location :

Deraya University is located on an area of 47 acres in the middle of the new city of Minya overlooking the eastern bank of the Nile.

Accreditation:

1. Deraya University was established in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 91 of 2010. To include ten colleges, including the Faculties of Pharmacy and Physiotherapy.

2. The internal regulations of the College of Pharmacy were approved on June 25, 2014 by the Supreme Council of Universities.

3. The internal regulations of the College of Physiotherapy were approved on 3/18/2014 AD by the Supreme Council of Universities.

Learning method:

It is summarized in the interaction between the professor and the student, so that the student’s accomplishment of the assignments and educational activities assigned to them are an essential part of the quarterly evaluation.
