What is the Pro-Recognition project?

Pro-Recognition is an advisory service of the German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHKs) on recognition of qualifications and employment in Germany. Sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, it provides free and reliable guidance on everything you need to know when looking for employment in Germany.
It advises on:

With its work, it supports professionals from all academic and vocational backgrounds in achieving their international career aspirations. Under the umbrella aegis of the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), its global team — which hat has a presence in Algeria, Egypt, India, Brazil, Columbia, Indonesia, Philippines, Morocco, and Türkiye — finds and provides accurate information, irrespective of where you have obtained your qualification from.

What are Pro-Recognition services?

• Recognition support: We can help you find the appropriate authority for the recognition process, prepare your application, find suitable adaptation courses, and overcome any potential communication barriers and other obstacles.

• Employment reference: If you have reached B2 level in German, you can send your CV and application to the Federal Employment Agency. (ZAV)

• Visa information: Since we are in contact with the German embassy, we support applicants with the updated requirements for obtaining the visa and how to apply for it.
