With the help of the American University in Cairo (AUC), Deraya University organized a “TOT” training at the university campus in New Minia City. The training was for 30 hours from September 25th – 28th, 2019. The training was conducted by Dr Mohammad Tawfik – Adjunct Assistant Professor in the AUC and Coordinator of the Space and Communications Engineering Program in Zewail City of Science and Technology.

This training aims to develop the new teaching assistants and make them professional trainers through enabling the ATAs to realize the trainees’ needs and develop a plan to fulfill these needs. The training also included teaching them how to conduct a direct and indirect training and how to implement the latest teaching techniques in the university.
