Deraya University participates in a research study of the Miswak plant as a possible antagonist to Corona

Within the framework of the joint research cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy at Deraya University in Minya, and the University of Beni Suef, a research study was issued on the benefits of the Miswak’ toothpick plant’, as an effective potential antagonist against “Corona Covid 19”, and the research has come to identify some of the compounds present in the leaves of the Miswak ‘toothpick plant’, by Computational micro-modeling, as an antigen to the emerging coronavirus.

Participated in this study from the Faculty of Pharmacy – Deraya University, Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Salah – Professor of Pharmacology, and Dr. / Osama Ramadan Abdel Mohsen – Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, and Pharmacist / Marwa  Hawari – Teaching Assistant, Department of Pharmacognosy. From outside the university are Dr. Asma Owais, Dr. Dalia Al-Amin – Assistant Professor of Drugs and Dr. Muhammad Ali Amr – Professor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
