Because Deraya University always encourages its students on creativity and community participation, the university participated – for the second time in a row – in the international competition “Hult Prize”. The competition took pace from Thursday November 28^th to Saturday November 30th at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport – Alexandria. The competition included other reputable universities like the AUC, AAST, BUE, and Egypt-Japan University.

The university is so proud to proclaim that three of its four participating teams won the first three places – the first team from the Faculty of Physiotherapy and the second and third teams from the Faculty of Pharmacy – and were chosen for:

• 1^st place – (Physiotherapy team) to participate in the international competition in Tunisia.
• 2^nd & 3^rd places – (Pharmacy teams) to participate in the national competition in Cairo.
