Deraya University organized an induction day for the new students in both the faculties of Pharmacy and Physiotherapy on Thursday 19^th, 2019. The event began with a huge reception for the students and their parents made by the Students’ Union and the Student Welfare Office at the university. The event included an introductory lecture to introduce the students to the educational system, the courses and study schedules, and the attendance system in the university. The lecture was followed by an orientation tour around the university to show the students the teaching rooms, halls, labs, libraries, and the various offices. After that, the tour headed to the Student Welfare Office to receive the textbooks. The day was concluded with a meeting with the students who will be staying in the university dormitory to show them their rooms and give them the keys of their rooms.
