Deraya University is a private University located in Upper Egypt and stretches over 47 acres on the east bank of the River Nile, in New Minya City, Al-Minya.

Deraya was established through the Presidential Decree No. 91 of 2010, and it currently has 4 operating faculties: Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Physiotherapy, Oral & Dental Medicine, and Business Administration.

Deraya aims at preparing qualified and distinguished graduates for the labor market who can easily adapt to the requirements of a vibrant labor market; on national, regional, and international levels.

Deraya has a unique selection of an elite group of academic staff with excellent track record in teaching and research.
